About Dennis Golden

The beuty and lands of mystery have inspired me to photograph the landscape of many places ive visited throught out my life from the tall trees of California to the Deserts of Arizona to the mountians of Alaska and temprate rainforests of the Pacific Northwest. These places of natural beuty have attracted me to view, photograph and paint these places of mystery.

I began photographing the landscape when I was a kid. Spending parts of my childhood in a small town west of Reno NV then moving to Colorado and growing up in Evergreen CO, I started out by taking pictures then painting the scene using watercolor. In Highschool, I swiched to Aqurlic because I liked to layer from my sky on down from there.

In College, I got in to photography. I still paint but do Photography a little more. I still do both to this day but a little more in photogrphy. In College I went to school in Glenwood Springs CO. There I went to more places and discovered more wild places in backcountrys of Utah and Arizonas Deserts.

After College I lived in Lake Tahoe, spending time exploring the natural wonders of California and Nevada then moved back to Colorado breftly before moving to Seattle in 2006 where I currently live. Exploring everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer Ive been to the Beaches, the Deserts, the high alpine peaks and the temprate rainforests. These places have a sence of mystery and spirital felling to it that continues drawing me to these places.
